…all i want for christmas (fourteen of thirty-six)
this is actually my most reasonable christmas wish to date. i often check the website coffeereview.com to see what’s the hotness in the coffee world right now. i’ve had a number of the coffee’s they have reviewed, and i think they’re pretty spot on.
this one grabbed my attention the other day. i’ve always been a huge fan of the kenyan variety of coffee, so this is definitely something i am going to have to try.
this kenya kigutha from terroir coffee company scored a rating of 95 (out of 100), and the tasting notes — as quoted below — make me shiver with antici-pation…
Crisp, intense, yet sweetly lyric coffee. In both aroma and cup blackcurrant, blackberry, orange, cherry; in the cup hints of cocoaish chocolate and merlot-like red wine as well. Long, sweet finish just on the rich side of astringent.
oh yes. i will have to try this.
it is available (on sale even!) on terroir’s website for $11.95.
Now THAT I could go for.
please call me when you brew a cup…
