…all i want for christmas (seven of thirty-six)

this year i found a passion and deep love for all things photography. i was able to purchase my first dslr, and i chose to enter into the sony alpha family of products for a variety of reasons. price, built-in image stabilization, self-cleaning sensor, and the backwards compatibility with minolta lenses has already proven fruitful (more on that later.)

when i purchased my a100, i knew i was going to be taking some rockin’ pictures. the only extras i could afford at the time was a uv filter (really, just a lens protector), a little lens cap cable, and two weeks later i got my first memory card.

at thanksgiving last week, my mother in-law found out that sony bought out minolta, and that the alpha series of dslr’s use the minolta lens mount system. hence, she decided to give me a 70-300mm lens, a flash unit, a neutral density filter, another uv filter, and a 2x lens multiplier. what a great thanksgiving! she no longer uses her old minolta film camera, so decided the items would have a better home with me.

well, now i definitely need a camera bag.

so, might as well rock out the sony bag made specifically for their cameras! this beauty of a bag can be found on amazon.com for about 90-100 smackaroo’s
