in the interest of full disclosure, i feel it necessary to point out to everyone that this is a cover of chris cornell’s cover of michael jackson’s “billie jean.” so, it’s not an original “cover” (whatever that means.) nonetheless, best american idol performance i’ve yet seen.

This is the only performance I got to see last night and it was a beauty! I actually wondered if the theme was covers, but I’ve always loved both versions.
