i’m becoming a bit of a wordpress ninja. that’s not to say i know all the in’s and out’s and am designing my own themes. but at least i’m getting really good at setting them up for people. with all that said, i’d like to introduce you all to my latest project; withinthestory.com.
the author is ben snyder, high school pastor, runner, husband, father and all around cool guy. if you’re looking for some good thought provoking posts on life, faith, love, hope and grace… with the usual amount of goofing off that happens on blogs thrown in the mix, then i really recommend checking it out.
so, if all my readers could do a favor and go leave him some love, welcome him to the blogosphere, that’d be great. additionally, i would ask that you give subscribing a shot. there’s a link on the left to subscribe via reader or email. try it for a month. if it doesn’t suit your fancy, unsubscribe that filthy crap and never look back!
for those of you keeping count, i have created and designed (using free themes as a template) the following blogs over the course of the last month:
*note - this series started from brody harper. basically, the idea is for us bloggers to write a post every tuesday building someone up. click here for more details on how it started.
what better person to write about in my inaguraul “positive post tuesday” than the woman who makes me want to be a better man on a daily basis? my wife ryanne, challenges me in way i never thought possible.
it’s been nearly four years now that we’ve been married. in that time we have been through a lot. it’s crazy to think this thing has really just gotten started, relatively speaking. in that four years, i’ve been amazed by the courage, tenacity, love, and determination this woman has showed. it takes all of the above to deal with me! we’ve been through some hard times, and a lot of great times… but one thing has always remained consistent, the commitment and love we have for each other.
i’m looking forward to the next stage of life with ryanne. she will be an amazing mother, and i very much anticipate raising children with her. then, after that… growing old together sounds like a wonderful plan. it will entail a lot of traveling, lounging, and old-people sex.
this is the new blog (that i’ve been working on all week) for a staff member at cedarcreek; kyle gray. go there, leave him some love, and trust me… just subscribe. if you aren’t pleased within a month, unsubscribe that crap and don’t look back.
i’ll give you a quarter if you don’t enjoy it after that long.
so, in a nonchalant sort of way, smithers called me out with his response to my really long list of jobs. he had a really embarrassing job listed, that i just cannot top; chuck-e-cheese. and not making the pizza, literally, he was the rat.
so, i see his goofy costume, and raise it with LARP. for those of you too cool to know what that stands for… Live Action Role Playing. think of dungeons and dragons, but acted out and on crack.
this could very well be the most embarrassing thing i ever share about myself, so use this opportunity to lay waste. for a brief (very brief) span of time, i actually participated in a group that did things very similar to this video. thankfully, my group never brought a video camera, so i don’t have actual footage of me. but this is a good representation.
i didn’t stay around long because i felt like a dork. i still play dungeons and dragons off and on though ;-).
hi, how are you? my name is joshua white. son of an awesome God, husband to an amazing woman, pseudo-daddy to two cats and a dog. i like to take pictures.
all views expressed on this blog are mine and mine alone. they do not reflect the opinions of my church, any of my clients, or anyone else who isn't me... not that it matters, because i'm usually right anyway.
