…coming soon: a blog-fast

a whole lot (fifteen to be exact) of bloggers are going on a trip to africa in several weeks with compassion international to raise awareness (and hopefully, child sponserships) for poverty in africa. some of them are amongst my favorite reads; los, anne, shaun… to just name a few.

i saw over on at’s blog today a great idea that i’m going to also partake in. while they’re gone, in addition to the prayers i’ll be saying for them, i’m also going to be “fasting” in support of them and what they’re doing. there will be no updates to this blog while they’re gone, and instead a post with links to their sites will be available to everyone who would normally come here to go and visit them and what’s happening on their trip.

it’s important enough, what they are doing, for me to send any traffic i can from my blog to theirs during this journey.
