oh there was plenty of crap being thrown during the haggard scandal. I was relatively close to the center of it all at the time, and heard a lot of it. Still do even.

You’re absolutely right though, that Christians need to shut up.

I don’t care for Edwards. I don’t care for any politician. But it says something about a person when they come forward with something like that. It also says something about his family when they stick together like that.

It’s so true. I made a a moral mistake several years ago, and so many people that I considered brothers and sisters in Christ quickly turned their backs on me, and it really hurt. I have moved far past that mistake, but I still remember the hurt I felt.

We have no room to judge anyone, because like you said, we are all pretty close to heading down a similarly wrong path. We are all capable of it.

I agree completely. Just leave him alone about it. It’s been plastered all over the major news networks for two days now. For some reason I don’t remember this much coverage when John McCain had an affair.
