this week’s weigh-in: 358.8
total weight loss this week: 2.8 pounds
it happened again this week. i am REALLY struggling at getting back to tracking everything i eat, but nevertheless, i still lost weight. i attribute it mainly to the lessons i learned in the three months i was hardcore about tracking everything i ate, along with the knowledge i’ve gained in proper portions and healthy foods. nevertheless, it makes me wonder how much better i could be doing if i really gave it my all.
and still, i have yet to begin exercising in earnest. granted, i’ve been doing a lot of housework, but nothing that i would say is committed as exercise. so again, i have to ask how much better would i be doing if i was working, even moderately hard at it?
so, while i am happy for the weight loss, it only really serves to make me wonder when it’s going to stop coming off so easily, and why i can’t just pick it up and work for it.

Many thousands of tons of encouragement! You are doing it! You are making progress towards your goal! A year ago you weighed over 400 pounds!!
What you are doing is a lifestyle change. The weight you put on did not go on overnight, so don’t expect it to come off overnight either.
