…funny signs and bbq

I saw this sign while driving back from the doctors office this morning. I know it’s super hard to read… stupid camera phone… anyway, the sign is for an auto shop, and says “We repair what your husband fixed.” Now that’s funny stuff.
Tonight for dinner… I made bbq chicken and corn on the cob… I looked around my fridge for some bbq sauce, and decided I didn’t want to settle for the norm, not while my wife is away and I can have as much spicy food as I wanted.

So I eyed the bottle of habanero tabasco, and the mississippi sweet apple bbq sauce… pure bliss ensued. I mixed the two sauces prior to grilling and basting, and used some of the remainder as a dipping sauce. This was undoubtedly the best bbq sauce I’ve ever had. The chicken was unreal, which is saying a lot because while I consider myself quite the grill-master, chicken usually kicks my butt. And the corn, the second batch we’ve gotten from the Perrysburg Farmers Market was incredible, again. Good food night. It’s amazing what you can eat and still stay under 1700 calories if you plan your day right.
I just need to bust your balls for a minute… I just want to make sure you are still walking and that your wife being away isn’t making it too easy to lose motivation to exercise. I hope you would do the same to check up on me!
