…how do you like me now?

I looked up how many calories and fat are in my typical meal at Chipotle today.

This is for a Barbacoa burrito with rice, corn, black beans, cheese, sour cream, and red tomatillo sauce. Also included is a bag of chips and a side of guacamole. This does NOT include a drink.

I’m not sure if I’m ever going back…

That is disgusting! The sad part is that you probably thought you were eating at least somewhat healthy? Afterall, beans and rice are part of a balanced diet, right?

Eric wanted to go there a few months ago but we didn’t know what we could order that was healthier. We looked it up online (last time I checked, Chipotle doesn’t have nutrition facts on their website). We were both disgusted with how unhealthy their products are. Even the flour tortillas are terrible for you!

We ended up sharing a bowl with rice, vegetables, beans and chicken. We got a little cheese and the corn salsa. I would like to think that we didn’t consume an astronomical amount of calories but who knows.

But the first time we went, we both had a burrito like the one you described. Wow.

Yeah, I knew it couldn’t be great for me, but I really thought that it’d be better than a meal at McDonalds.
