Last night Ryanne and I had the opportunity to see Def Leppard, with Styx and REO Speedwagon in concert at the Germain Amphitheater in Columbus, Ohio. We got the tickets for free from someone at CedarCreek, and they were by far and away the best seats I’ve ever had for a concert. We must have only been 15 - 20 rows from the stage, dead-center. It was a fantastic concert (except for REO Speedwagon anyway), Styx was fantastic, and Def Leppard was, well… Def Leppard — which translates to rock-your-face-off awesome.
I think everyone my age and younger needs to go to a classic rock concert. Bands just don’t play that well anymore, and they definetly don’t perform like that anymore.
Here is just a really brief snippet of Def Leppard I captured with my cell phone, so it’s pretty bad quality.
