yes, i like to think of myself first and foremost as a creative. in the creative world, nothing gets me going like photography.

i have been a photographer as a hobby for years. recently, i’ve started to get paid for my work. i specialize mostly in landscapes and nature photography. but i also work with people when i can, as well as music and concert photography.

unless i have some personal connection with the couple, i do not do wedding photography. it’s simply too much of a headache, and unless it’s a team effort, it’s too much work. if you’re a photographer that does do weddings and are looking for an assistant, i’d be happy do that… i just don’t wish to be responsible for such a big day. if you are a couple looking for a photographer, i can certainly make a recommendation… also, don’t hire one-person teams to do a wedding.

that being said, what i do is photoshoots with people who want something a little different than your standard “stand still, lean forward, smile” type of photography.

i shoot in digital format, and am quite fond of adobe photoshop.
