…long list (something fun)

April 12, 2008 – 11:32 am

saw this over on brody’s site, and thought it’d be a fun exercise for me as well. the game is, try and think of all the jobs you’ve had, and list them, nothing too difficult, right? well, unless you have an awful memory like i do… so this list is in no particular order.

prior to the four years now i have spent at cedarcreek church, these are all the jobs i’ve had that i can remember:

  • paperboy - delivered papers
  • taco bell - made taco’s
  • ponderosa steakhouse (buffet resturaunt) - dishwasher
  • lone star steakhouse - dishwasher
  • ahmed’s restuarent - dishwasher (for about an hour)
  • valvoline instant oil change - service tech/asst. manager
  • whitmer high school - summer production assistant (lighting for shows that used the auditorium)
  • some factory i don’t remember the name of - screwing on bottle caps, i’m not joking. that lasted ten minutes.
  • kirby vacuum - vacuum salesman (that lasted a week, and is a post for another day.)
  • guardian alarm - home/business alarm service technician/installer
  • claimspro - medical billing company i did filing for
  • hose sales direct - office assistant/it/graphic designer
  • hcr manorcare - it
  • convergys - it phone tech support
  • rumpf ambulance - emt (my license has lapsed)
  • perf-a-lawn (lawn care) - crew (go to homes, fertilize their lawn)
  • freelance landscaping
  • freelance web designer
  • freelance photographer
  • freelance video producer
  • brief stint as a writer for IGN.com

gosh, i think that’s it. i’ll undoubtedly think of something later that i missed though. if so, i will come back and add it to the list. wow, that’s a lot! in just eight years of being legally able to work, i’ve had (at least) twenty-two jobs. twenty-three including my current employer.

and as an aside, i still do freelance photography and video production. so if anyone wants to get some photo’s taken… give me a holla!

what about you? how many jobs have you had? and what were they?
