1st & 2nd mile: Future of Forestry - Twilight Album
3rd mile: Eminem - Mosh, System of a Down - Toxicity Album

Thought about:
1st mile: “huh, this isn’t so bad. nice weather, not too hot at 7:30am. i really wish Bruno (our dog) would stop stopping to sniff everything.”

2nd mile: “why the crap does my shoulder hurt? i think i need to invest in better shoes. boy, i’m glad i dropped bruno off after the first mile. must keep sweat out of eyes. for being such a big guy, my ipod earbuds seem to slip out of my ears an awful lot… do i have small ears?”

3rd mile: “this freakin’ sucks. why doesn’t my shoulder hurt anymore? alright… this sucks, but i refuse to quit. i can’t believe i won’t have to ask for a seat belt extender when i fly to florida in six months.”

Finish: “i bet i could have done four miles…”

    I will have to tell you about joint vs muscle pain someday. There is a difference and you will experience and get over both.

    I like that lap belt objective!

    Now the next time you walk that same route try to finish just a little faster. Even if it is only 1 minute faster.
