…thought-provoking, or gone too far?

i recently read the book “deadly viper character assassins” and absolutely loved it. the duo behind it, mike foster and jud wilhite, well lets just say i have a little bit of a man-crush on them. they are constantly pushing the bar in a way that gets you thinking. they started a whole campaign called “people of the second chance” which i am so completely on-board with.

anyway, to the point of this post… here, a quote from their blog:

“Love Takes Balls” is about discovering the limits of our own love and then learning to throw away those limits.

It’s about redefining love using God’s example - boundless, with no quid-pro-quos. Expecting–and sometimes getting–nothing back in return. It takes courage, strength, and total commitment to love like this.

What if right now, everything we knew, felt, believed about love was suddenly turned “upside down.” Challenged. Tested. No limits. What if we came to realize that everything we thought and believed about love, grace, forgiveness, each other and ourselves was wrong. We discover that radical grace is real and we can experience it in our own lives and freely give it to others.

so what do you think? vulgar and offensive, or thought-provoking?

I agree with the idea, but it also seems like the method of getting your attention almost outweighs the message itself.
