we started a new series are cedarcreek.tv this weekend. it all began with a little social experiment we tried. all across the greater toledo area we put up billboards that simply read: “what’s wrong with church? www.whychurch.tv” and then they would go to this website and give their answer to any one of the three questions (or all) anonymously. the only rules are no bashing other churches (bash us all you want), personal attacks, straight-up crazy things, and excessive swearing. everything, and i mean everything else has been approved.
the response was great. well, it was great in the sense of amount of responses… but as a christian and someone who works for a church, it was also sad. eye opening, but sad. sad to know how many of these people we’ve failed.
