i got an email from someone today. not one of those chain emails either… this was an honest to goodness real email written by someone i know who is quite upset about the cover of the new time magazine. check it out, let me know what you think. i have my own thoughts, which i will share soon.

  2. Sure kind of waters down what those GI’s did at Iwo Jima back in WWII, as far as I’m concerned. I don’t disagree with the need for this issue, but I think they could have come up with a better cover.

  3. Josh…this is upsetting. Of course Richard Branson can save the Airline Industry. Do we even need to ask this? As for the rest of the cover…It does kind of seem shallow and pedantic.

  4. I agree, it is quite upsetting that women are taking the “c-section” easy way out! (or am I missing something?)

Honestly, I guess I’m not sensitive enough because my first reaction is that it emphasizes the importance of the environment. I don’t think it waters down anything at all… what good is freedom if we all burst into flames or drown from the ice caps melting? The environment is as urgent an issue as wartime victory, if not more urgent. This is my opinion…
